Wow. Where do I start? The ONLY reason this place got a second star is due to the nice manager. We stopped in to Cheers for drinks and dinner while my car was having brakes put on and before I had to head to DJ. My pal that was fixing my car told me about an hour and he'd be back. Perfect. Not perfect. Cheers was by no means busy. 5-6 tables inside, 4 people at the bar and 2 tables on the patio. With 4 servers. Our server did everything she could to look super busy, but didn't help us as she should. It took close to 10 minutes before she reluctantly walked up to our table, acted rushed and asked for our drink order. It took at least another 10 to get our beers. We ordered some wings to start and probably should have ordered our meals before we even sat down. The wings were good. They were spicy. That means one thing: I need more beer. Well, 15 minutes goes by with me and an empty glass and my mouthal region on fire. I didn't even have water to throw in my face. No celery left on the table, no ranch to snort, no nothing! Good God help me! Well, finally she comes back to ask if I want another beer and if we were ready to order our meals. YEP! YEP!!! YEPP!!!!!!!! I'm pissed just writing this damn review! I'm looking for my blood pressure meds and a xanax! I order the reuben and Em orders some pasta dish. ... ... ... 45 minutes later. NOT KIDDING. 45 MFin minutes. She tells us the kitchen messed up our order and it should be right out. I inform her to box it up as I am now super late to head to work. Oh, and send out your manager. Kthanks. The manager comes up and gives us the real deal. She forgot to put our order in and then when she did put it in, it was the wrong order. We were sincerely apologized to by the manager and comped. Our server never said anything, just kept running around like the place was on fire. By the way, the reuben was terrible and so was the pasta. The menu looked great, but holy swear words! I don't think I can muster the courage to head back into this place!

My first review of this place was a little high. We ate here again last Saturday night. My wife's employer had all of the employees and spouses here for dinner. The service was marginal and the food was just adequate. I had the Captains platter which had 2 shrimp, two small grouper fingers and one other small piece of fish for $14.00. The food was just OK but the quantity was really lacking for the price. We have had a very nondescript breakfast here several months ago and I wouldn't do that again either. I have given this place a fair chance and at best its just OK. I must say that if you are a drinker and a sports nut, then you might enjoy Cheers, as this place is set up as a sports.

We went during an off hour a several weeks ago, after the lunch rush and before dinner, we were the only table there, After waiting 10 minutes to have a waitress acknowledge us, we put in our drink order and waited. And waited. And waited. 30 minutes after sitting down.. with no drinks served my husband walked up to the counter where two waitresses were standing around and chit chatting, cancelled our drink order and we left to find a business who wanted our money.

Love this place the 2 star reviews don't do it justice. Relaxed atmosphere great bartenders and good bands do it for me. They also have trivia and karaoke on certain nights if your into that. Food has always been great for me. To the people who say service is slow this place does get some pretty busy dinner rushes so you will be waiting a bit that's just the nature of the restaurant game. Buy one get one burritos on Monday (that are awesome) and a great breakfast that starts at 7am. Try it out!!!!!

Had the $5 special lunch, nothing special, just OK. Fish, 2 small pieces, was moist and good, fries looked like they'd been cooked twice, but were OK. Blinds were covered in dust and floor grubby. Won't be back.

Service was slow, and whoever the bartender is who works there is the RUDEST I have ever met. As someone who works in the industry, I just find that unacceptable. Appetizers were decent, how can you really mess up microwavable food. Went in bingo night however, and the bingo was fun! The ladies who ran it did a great job and sent out awesome energy!

We got there and right away our server took our drink order and they came back pretty fast, we got cokes with grenadine and they were spot on. Then it was time to order our meal. I get chicken alfredo everywhere I go and seen it on the menu and knew right away what I was going to order. My plate arrived and I took a bite right away. At first it wasn't took bad, the sauce had tasted like they had just gone to the store and bought a regular ol' can of alfredo sauce. I figured it would be okay, I'd just throw in some salt and pepper. As I kept eating, it just got worse and worse. I kept biting into these little chewy chunks that I couldn't quite figure out what they were at first, and then it hit me... I was biting into chunks of garlic gloves! The more I ate the more garlicy my food got. There was so much garlic in my food that some bites would literally burn my mouth just like eating raw garlic does. I managed to eat about half of my food before all the garlic literally made me feel sick to my stomach, I was actually worried that I might throw up from it. My boyfriend, had wanted me to eat more considering it was like $13 I'm pretty sure and I just couldn't do it. By the time we walked out of the place, my boyfriend couldn't even stand to have me talk to him because my breath wreaked of garlic so intensely. I will never order this again. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had eating out at a restaurant. On the bright side, I have eaten their chicken tenders and fries, and they have one of the best chicken tenders I have ever had, delicious!

We have ate here several times hoping that it would be good. To put it simply: Don't waste your money. It's been just awful all three times. The servers are nice enough (sometimes inept though) but the food is garbage. A gyro served on a oversized tortilla?? Alfredo sauce seasoned so badly it was not palatable? Frozen preformed burgers?? Heavy grease SOAKED fried fish?? If this is what someone likes than maybe this place would be perfect for them. Every time we paid for our 50$+ meal I cringed.

At Cheers, it's all about the server you get. Some are much, much better than others. If you want great service, ask for a table with Ashley or A.J. Otherwise, the food is great. The daily dinner specials are especially top-notch.

I have been hear a number of times before. Most recently last Friday night. I remember why it had been awhile since my last visit... Sadly, I remember it being better. The food was okay. Pretty basic nothing special and it didn't feel homemade, it felt freezer. The service...dear my, the service. Slow, slow, slow. There were other servers standing around. I don't understand why you wouldn't jump in and help instead of standing around?!? It was a real disappointment.

For a restaurant that averages just over 2 stars you'd think Cheers would care about customers requests. The manager said she couldn't put WGN on any screen because they were all spoken for. Even the two that were side by side showing the same thing ?? Even the one showing American Idol with no sound. Wow. Prices too high, staff lackadaisical, management unresponsive. No way to run a business.

Barely able to even give this place one star. Started out with a nice waitress. My red wine had no flavor at all. I am sure it was the cheapest wine you could find, yet it was $6.50. My husband and I split the special "shredded steak burrito." We were not able to have "double rice" according to the waitress because the beans and rice "had to be the order because it was the special of the day... No substitutions". Honestly do not know any restaurant these days who have this policy! It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive to the table. I looked around me, and out of 7 tables, only one had food. The sauce on the burrito was awful. It must have come from a can or flavor packet. Never a good sign when sauces speak louder than the fresh flavors of the food. The place is loud, the tables are super tightly packed and drinks are pushed because food doesn't arrive. Thumbs down.

This place just lacks good service and food. The burrito is just plain ugly. It is awful. The service is slow and bitchy. This place needs to just change. Cheers is outdated.

My husband and I have been to Cheers twice and both times we were pleased. The atmosphere is unique--a place you could go with your parents or friends. It is older but clean. The menu is vast and they have quite a variety. I would say it ranges from about $8-$12 for most items. We have had the wet burritos, quesadillas and goulash--everything was very good. Make sure to check their specials! For example: Mondays are buy one, get one free wet burritos. They also have a nice big patio if you are looking to eat outside.

This place is real hit and miss. Sometimes you get a good waitress, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you get good food, sometimes you don't. Example: Had a great waitress but ordered a patty melt. Order came out on toast. Not buttered and not grilled. Really? Have had breakfast there. Everything seems greasy. Other times have had pretty good food but have had to go hunt up a server just to cash out. Seems like they could use a good floor supervisor to oversee things. Yet, the parking lot is often full. I think this is a better place to drink than to eat.

The best time to go here is during the great deals. My mother and I chose to take advantage of their 2-for-1 burrito night. You can order it inside out or regular, beef or beef/bean. Good portion sizes - fills you up and you'll probably have leftovers. Quality isn't the best. A great place for appetizers and drinks though. My most recent visit we had a nice enough waitress. Older though, and definitely scorned by more than a few unpleasant customers. Her demeanor seemed cross.
